£30m Payet bid latest - it's time to let him go
|
PSG in papers today, Express.
We should bite their hands off for taking away this NHS obesity case. An amazing first season - but now......
He has betrayed the fans with his sulking, laziness and love of a good fry up. It's time to go.
We need fighters as to pull us back from the abyss of relegation.
And to think some of you thought he was better than Di Canio, a legend who would have given blood for the club. Payet isn't fit to lick his boots. Bye, bye you mercenary turncoat.

If Mourinho hasn't been reading camel's comments, he has only himself to blame...

Express understands according to a french site that comprends that he is just what Jose wants.
No quotes, no named sources except understanding journos. It may be true, but I hate these kind of articles that are probably journos tapping up and turning the heads of players on behalf of their favoured managers or agents.
Like I said earlier, we should refuse to sell, even if he spits his dummy out. If he's unwilling to at least see this season out, let alone his contract, then chuck him in the development squad. If we want to move to the legendary next level, one part of the mission is not being a soft touch for egos and agents.

Express reckons Mourinho and Payet have already had a chat

CUNTS.
Looks like a swap deal with Fellaini then and knowing us we'll end up also paying £15m as well. Before Fellaini spontaneously combusts after signing his contract

Not a wind up mate. Look at Tevez, a lion who kept us up.
That's the kind of player we need to save us from the drop, not unhappy players who don't want to be here.

Just a thought but I'd rather not have payet taking all corners especially from the right. In-swingers from Cresswell should be used once in a while. He hits a ball extremely well. Payet doesn't always beat the first man.

I don't agree with the sentiment of selling him if he doesn't want to be here. I reckon we should make him see out his contract in the reserves, if need be, as an example to any future players who think they can sulk their way out of their obligations. I don't think he is trying to sulk his way out, by the way, just that we shouldn't let any player have so much power over us.

Yea, the last comment was a joke about the snails.
Still, if he doesn't want to be here, and is going to sulk, let him go and cash in. Many people on here agree with that.

Its not a case of letting him go, more of he'll want to leave in Jan as we are so shit at the moment, if PSG want him they'll more than likely get him, what player his age would turn down the chance of Champions league football to stay in a relegation battle.

camel is on a wind up, I am convinced.
Best to just ignore him on this subject everyone, because he is just putting the fishing rod out.
Nobody could be that negative against Payet after what he did last year, not to mention him still creating the MOST CHANCES IN EUROPE this season for a poor performing team.
I for one am grateful that We've Got Payet.

Camel, you are extremely harsh on Payet.
You'll probably never see a better player over there for a long while, if ever.

I heard a story that Payet has had the hump ever since the club declined to top up his wages after the drop in exchange rates with the Euro after the Brexit vote. Also, other members of the squad have had a go at him for his constant moaning about it.

Payet is the supplier - with an absent strike force it becomes a laborious task. Andy is back, the crosses will come and the goals will be scored.

My take on this and West Ham in general. I love being entertained, watching great football. It makes me happy and gives me memories and reminders of what football means to us and the pleasure it gives us. Players that produce that feeling, that emotion that you remember all your life don't come along too often but years on we talk about the weaving Devonshire run, the Dicanio volley and now Payets solo goal at the OS or one of his many free kicks. These are the moments I want to remember, to savour. Last season was immense not only because we had these brilliant moments and great football but we were ALSO winning. Unheard of fir West Ham!! Its a hard act to follow. But in truth it means little to me if we are 7th or 17th in the league. I want us to win, to 'progress' but without massive funding or an out of this world season of brilliance and immense luck we willnot win the league! So does league position really matter?? To us? Not to me, I enjoy the Premier league and the fact we have attracted players like Payet who we'd not have the pleasure to see in the Champs but whats more significant for me is to enjoy what I'm paying into.. the entertainment industry. That's why it's essential we keep Payet, I fucking love watching the guy. Not only that but with this relegation battle are chances without him plummet! Wait til he starts whipping those crosses in for the Big Geordie's nut or threading through balls to Sakho and the goals will come and we'll be fine. And if not, so fucking what? We wait for the next DiCanio, Payet or Devonshire to cone along and get our blood pumping again! Life is not measure by the breaths we take but the moments that take our breath away! Thats what Payet gives us!!

Camel's solution to our problems is to sell Payet and appoint Curbishley.
Let that sink in. Imagine the excitement and hope we would have come 1st Feb.

Camel No you are wrong, again. Noble has not sweated blood like he did last year, that's why he's off form.
I hope you watched the PL show tonight and Payet's rabona to Antonio
I'll put a tenner on him to score against Liverpool

I could not agree more B6. Roeder not being able to handle Di Canio is what caused us to go down. Trevor Brooking brought him straight back and he nearly kept us up. Not all players are there to do the donkey work. Some are there to give you the bit of magic
